Welcome to The Social Queer. Our mission is to cultivate a community for queer people in pursuit of profound and lifelong friendship.

Based in Seattle | Established 2018 | lesbian run

While we recognize that no space can be guaranteed completely safe, we commit to fostering brave spaces where authenticity, respect, and accountability are prioritized. We are dedicated to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for all members of our community—especially those who identify as trans, non-binary, and BIPOC. We believe that belonging is a fundamental right, and we strive to ensure that every voice is heard and valued. Through intentional practices and ongoing learning, we will do our best to create conditions that minimize harm and maximize inclusion.

Together, we aim to build a community where courage and care guide our actions, and where everyone can show up as their full selves.
